Terms for Using These Pages

Neither this service nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

What This Service Is

The pages are a reference for locating jail, booking, arrest, court, and corrections resources in Watauga County and North Carolina. No official record is stored here. The service cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a court document, or change a government record. Links may lead to the Sheriff, city police, NC courts, NC DAC, federal locators, archives, news outlets, and outside research tools.

FCRA Restrictions

Watauga County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks, and neither the service nor its advertising partners provide screening services. Outside Links and Tools

Outside links may lead to jail rosters, booking feeds, sheriff or corrections pages, public portals, legal resources, news publishers, or research tools. Watauga County Busted Mugshots does not control their content, pricing, privacy practices, availability, or accuracy. Review each provider’s own terms before using it. A link is not an endorsement.

Information Provided As Is

All material is supplied “as is,” without a promise that it will be complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. No guarantee is made that a partner search will return every record or that an agency page will remain online. Custody and public records change. Nothing here is an official statement from a government agency.

  • Accuracy, completeness, and currency are not guaranteed.
  • Access may be interrupted.
  • Bugs, security issues, and outages may occur.
  • Outside search results may be incomplete.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Watauga County Busted Mugshots and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the pages, linked services, records, or search results.

Your Indemnity Promise

You agree to defend and hold harmless the service and its operators from claims, costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your use of the pages, your violation of these terms, or your unlawful conduct.

Ownership of Content

Text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Watauga County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. Do not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or republish them without written permission, except where applicable law provides another right.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time. Updated terms take effect when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or blocked for any reason and without advance notice.

North Carolina Law

North Carolina law governs these terms. Any dispute must be filed in a court located in North Carolina, unless applicable law requires another forum.

Severability and Questions

If a court finds one part invalid, the remaining provisions continue. The invalid part will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable. Questions may be sent through the Contact Us page.
